This reading series will give you insight into how Lower Depth Theatre Ensemble chooses its work. The post discussion will provide a catalyst for conversation about issues that concern community, family and art. 

Rob Keefe is the author of The Cortez Method, All That Is Seen And Unseen, Reunion Tour and Turn It Into Smoke. The Cortez Method premiered at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater in 2013 and was a finalist for the ATCA Steinberg Award. He has written over a dozen plays for Thrillpeddlers in San Francisco, among them The Model House, which will open in fall of 2015. Also in San Francisco, Parenthecide (A Version) was produced by Encore Theater Company. New York productions include The Official Show (Now With Blimp!) and A Floating Roof. On TV he has written for Real Simple on PBS and Sportskabob for the MSG Network. He is a graduate of Boston University and a member of the Dramatists Guild.

ALL THAT IS SEEN AND UNSEEN takes place in a hot country. It occurs right now in any of several places in the world where "Hot" describes both the political and meteorological climate. There is a wide gulf between the Locals and the Americans including but not limited to, race, politics and economics.
